WELCOME ON BOARD

The Role: Area Sales Manager

You will be responsible for sales and business development across a dedicated territory, handling complex technical enquiries and taking the lead in multi-year sales projects. You will manage the entire sales process, from early engagement with ship designers, yards and navies to technical clarifications, contract negotiations, and handover to project teams.

In addition to managing and cultivating the opportunity pipeline, the Area Sales Manager also acts as a tender project manager – coordinating across departments and ensuring quality throughout the process. You will be the customer's main point of contact throughout the sales process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and expand sales within your assigned region.

  • Develop strong relationships with ship owners, operators, shipyards, and designers.

  • Act as project lead for tender processes – from enquiry to contract signature.

  • Deliver presentations and respond to detailed technical requirements.

  • Handle negotiations, pricing, and contract terms.

  • Attend relevant trade fairs and exhibitions.

  • Contribute to continuous product improvement and sales strategy.

Your Background

  • Technical education is beneficial but not required – strong technical understanding is essential.

  • Practical experience from the maritime industry or similar would be an advantage.

  • A commercial background combined with engineering insight is ideal.

  • Prior international sales experience (B2B) is a plus.

  • Fluent in English; Spanish is an advantage.

  • Patient, structured, and detail-oriented.

  • Comfortable working independently and managing long, complex projects.

Why You will Succeed Here

If you’re curious, analytical, and motivated by delivering long-term value in a technically complex environment, this is the role for you. You will fit right in if you enjoy collaboration, sharing knowledge, and working toward meaningful results in a team that values integrity, trust, and innovation.

We Offer

  • A global company with an exciting product and mission.

  • A close-knit, professional team with strong collaboration.

  • An international role with approx. 50–70 days of travel per year.

  • Competitive salary and insurance packages.

  • A meaningful job where your efforts directly impact the success of global maritime operations.
