Areas of responsibility
Perform service and maintenance work on the customer's davit systems, and annual inspections in accordance with the company's guidelines and in accordance with external rules (SOLAS, NDM, IMO)
Perform the tasks in a way that allows the company to reach its quality goals

Job Description
Perform service, repairs, installation, and start-up of davit systems on customer's ships or shipyards around the country
The davit systems are hydraulic with some electrical components
There will be occasional international travel to customer's ships as well as to our factory in Europe for training purposes
Write service reports and other related documentation
Assist with service quotes when needed
Participate in product follow-up with sub-suppliers
Contribute to product improvement, standardization, and optimization.
Qualifications/Experience
Previous experience with working in the field as a service engineer is preferred
