2020 saw Vestdavit win a contract to supply fast-rescue-boat davit systems for six patrouilleurs d’outre-mer (POM) vessels to be built by Socarenam in Saint Malo. The vessels will be homeported in the French Overseas Territories of New Caledonia, Réunion Island and French Polynesia and will be responsible for maintaining security and surveillance in this vast maritime area.

The Vestdavit PLD-5000 fast-rescue-boat davit systems will act as a significant force multiplier for these powerful vessels, allowing them to conduct tasks such as board and search, interdiction and search and rescue with increased agility and safety.
