In 2019, Vestdavit delivered two enhanced PLR-5000 units for HMS Tyne, completing the delivery of a series of 18 davit systems to the Royal Navy’s River-Class offshore patrol vessels.

These advanced davits, paired with a Pacific 24 fast-rescue boat, form the primary delivery system for the vessels’ collective boarding capability, delivering boarding teams efficiently and reliably up to four times a day, 300 days a year.
